Substitution of BMUs

Technical challenges:

The replacement of the two machines in the building had to be carried out without the use of cranes. For this reason, the solution designed by our engineers had to be disassemblable to be lifted to the roof using the elevators.

On the other hand, the characteristics of the roof soil in the building required that the BMUs (building maintenance units) be lightweight and capable of moving on an angular guide.

Our solution:

As seen in the images, the two GPNs were designed to be disassemblable and loaded into the elevators.

Additionally, the BMU was adapted to work with the old facade fastening system that the building had, which resulted in significant savings for the client.
