Hatchways for access to the facade

Technical challenges:

The solution designed by GPBMU had to provide access to the ground of an inner courtyard. The multiple roof obstacles and the limited space made this building a safety challenge.  

Our solution:

A davit was designed that allowed the basket to be rotated manually and, thanks to its height, cleared the parapet of the inner courtyard. Despite its higher cost, the davit represented an improvement in safety and comfort compared to other solutions such as descent by ropes.
