Installation of BMU in hotel

Technical challenges:

The installation of a BMU (building maintenance unit) was required years after the construction of the building. For this reason, our engineers had to work with a roof full of obstacles (chimneys, ventilation columns, elevator room...) that complicated the design of a rail system for the machine to move on.

Our solution:

Our team of engineers designed a very lightweight machine capable of operating on closely spaced rails (800 mm). Additionally, some translational movements were automated to ensure safety during movements on the roof.

Furthermore, our GPN model was equipped with a winch that allowed for the use of a glass replacement system.
