Technical challenges:
The complexity in this project was coming from difficult-access-facades and from the multiple cantilevers. Also, the traversing movements of our roof car had to be made through narrow corridors.
Our solution:
The fact that we started to work on the project from the very beginning allowed us to provide the BMUs in time for the final construction stages.
Two BMUS were installed at different levels of the building to access to every facade. Both machines (GPI models) were equipped with winches (maximum lifting capacity = 1 ton) to help on the glass installation phase, so they were amortize from the very beginning.
In order to guarantee the integrity of all the façade elements, a restraint system of buffered wheels and pins was installed in the entire building.
