BMUs with winches for offices

Technical Challenges:

The building had multiple facades that were difficult to access and cantilevers in the structure that complicated the movements of the gondolas. Additionally, the translation had to be done through very narrow corridors.

Our solution:

Our engineering team designed a solution in which two GPI teams installed at different levels of the building covered the access to all facades.

In order to guarantee the integrity of the cantilevers, the gondola was equipped with a system to absorb shocks and a "pins" mechanism was incorporated to ensure it was perfectly fixed to the front when in operation.

Additionally, both machines were equipped with winches to assist in the installation of glass during the final construction phase of the building and for future maintenance.
