What is the process of creating a BMU for a facade?

What is the process of creating a Facade BMU?: At GPBMU we are involved in the entire process of creating our products. We have been designing and manufacturing gondolas since our founding, thanks to the work of professionals with extensive experience in the sector. Our experience has allowed clients from all over the world to recognize our gondolas as synonymous with quality and safety. In the case of this type of machines, we offer four different models that we adapt to the needs of each client. However, the creation process is remarkably similar among them, and we explain it below.
Firstly, at GPBMU we develop the engineering of the machine. Our team of engineers works with our distributors to provide the most suitable solutions for each project, meeting delivery deadlines and ensuring good service and client satisfaction.
We are also involved in the building design phase, in order to guarantee solutions that integrate with the architecture and provide an effective response. This is because each model of gondola operates on various types of facades. For example, our GPI model is the solution for buildings of all height ranges with straight or negative facades. It is also ideal for roofs where obstacles hinder the movement of the BMU along the parapet. In general, being involved in the design of the building allows us to anticipate the client's needs, so we can meet them while developing the engineering of the machine.
The tasks conducted by our engineers include:

  • Preparation of technical documents.

  • Calculations (stability studies, material resistance studies, etc.).

  • 2D and 3D drawings of the plans

  • Electrical Engineering
Secondly, we move on to manufacturing the machine. The operating staff builds the machine and, in close contact with the engineering staff, we reduce the number of incidents during the manufacturing process to zero, while ensuring we meet the timelines agreed with the client. Being a manufacturer is what sets us apart and allows us to guarantee each and every material and component used in our facade access solutions through maintenance units.
These two steps make up the process that we follow at GPBMU to create a gondola. However, we offer three additional services around the BMU, which we now explain.
We train our employees for the installation and commissioning of our equipment, giving detailed instructions on the technical requirements that the different elements must meet.
For technically more complex installations, our staff will personally travel to the installation site to advise and ensure that the highest quality standards are met.
Once the gondola is designed, manufactured, and installed, we offer a maintenance service. We perform two operations depending on the needs of the machine.
On the one hand, preventive maintenance operations aim to ensure the proper functioning and safety of the machine. They are periodic inspections that ensure the machine operates like the first day of installation throughout its useful life.
On the other hand, corrective maintenance operations are carried out when deficiencies are detected in the equipment, as a result of wear of certain parts or minor damage caused by regular use.
Finally, we offer a replacement and adaptation service of BMU to our clients when they find themselves in any of the following situations:

  • Failures in engineering design

  • Noncompliance with regulations

  • Maintenance neglect causing negative consequences for the client

  • New facade maintenance needs not covered by the old BMU.

  • Model innovation.
At GPBMU we are experts in the technical advice of facade maintenance equipment, which is why we advise both national and international clients on the replacement or adaptation of equipment.

The process of creating a facade gondola is completely covered at GPBMU, always addressing the needs of the client, and offering additional services for the maximum performance of the machines. Do not hesitate and trust our quality services.
